Saving the Pets
By: Azra Y. Michaela K. and Meyra Y.
We are doing a project and would like to help animals in shelters. We believe animals go through a lot of pain they shouldn't have to and we would like your help!
Some animal shelters care, but others don’t! The purpose of animal shelters is to take in homeless animals, not to kill them if the animal shelter gets to full.
Common problems in animal shelters include cruel killing methods, dirty conditions, lack of veterinary care, and lack of good food and water quality.
Because of severe space limitations, most shelters kill animals who are old, seriously ill, or aggressive as well as those who remain unclaimed or unadopted after a certain number of days.
We will help out at the shelters so the shelters can get a break. We will ask people to help the shelters and donate to the shelters! Also, please adopt animals because they do not get to live an amazing life in shelters in a cage. They get depressed and dirty and very hungry. Adopting saves lives!
How we will help!
grapes contain tartaric acid which can cause vomiting, excessive thirst, and kidney failure.
what to feed your pet!

Cats are lactose intolerant, which means they don't have lactase in their intestines to digest the sugar (lactose) in the milk. It can cause stomach pain and vomiting for your cat.

We are asking that you donate pet supplies, pet food, pet toys, etc. Please take everything you donate to the Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter.
What you can do to help: You can help by adopting from your local animal shelters and donating. If you have old unused blankets or towels bring them to your local animal shelter and they would be very appreciative.
